Eric's career spans more than 25 years in the public and private sectors, with senior roles in central banking, government ministry of finance, economics consulting, venture capital, wholesale electricity market, and the dairy industry. Eric co-led the design and implementation of Global Dairy Trade in 2008 and continues to spearhead the market and business development of the platform.
Eric’s roles had a strong focus on strategy and policy covering the gambit from corporate strategy, finance and capital structure reform, industry governance, pricing incentives and cost allocation, competition and regulatory policy, monetary policy, economic modelling and forecasting, to Crown asset and liability management.
Eric studied economics and mathematics at the University of Waikato, New Zealand, and holds a Ph.D. in economics from the London School of Economics & Political Science.
Shaun joined GDT in 2011 and is responsible for GDT’s overall technology vision and developing a deep pool of technology partners globally to deliver on that vision.
Shaun came to GDT after more than twenty years’ in executive and senior technology and business roles in Europe and New Zealand. With a background in large corporations such as IBM and BP and also technology start-up businesses, Shaun has masterminded the implementation of the robust secure technology platforms that support the expanding base of Sellers and Bidders on GDT.
Shaun holds a Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) from Victoria University, New Zealand and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Warwick, United Kingdom.
Michael’s career spans more than 10 years in the dairy industry, and many more working for leading companies between the United Kingdom and New Zealand including Virgin Retail and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
Building upon a diverse line management and management consulting background, Michael has consolidated his career within the international dairy industry by driving business improvements across sales, supply chain and customer services. Michael manages the nuts and bolts of GDT’s operations, and also coordinates external communications and marketing activities.
Michael holds an honours degree in Philosophy and Classics from Nottingham University and a Masters in Business Administration from Aston Business School.
A career marketer with over 20 years’ experience in both business and consumer markets, Jen joined GDT in 2015 to manage all aspects of branding, marketing, sales and customer communications for GDT.
Jen is passionate about new and emerging technologies, having spent most of her career developing and launching new services in the telecommunications and IT sectors. Her move to dairy four years ago has been focused on the creation of service offerings that wrap around ingredient product, and the channels through which these products and services are sold.
Jen holds a Bachelor of Business Studies from Massey University.
